UP !! - Ellie Fredricksen

A very good computer animated movie produced by Pixar animation studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures.

I think it was the most heartwarming animation movies i ever seen if i say. The film centers around an elderly widower named Carl Fredricksen and an earnest young Wilderness Explorer named Russell who fly to South America in a house suspended by helium balloons. Very interesting concept, a truly magnificent works by Pixar Animation Studios.

Young Carl Fredricksen meet Ellie docter who shares same interest with him.. Charles Muntz.. An explorer. Ellie tell Carl her ambition.. that was move her clubhouse to a cliff overlooking Paradise Falls then write her adventures in her personal scrapbook. Therefore carl agrees to help her. Making a promise
with her by crossing his heart (very adorable indeed.. haha).


They both evetually get married and live in the house where they first meet. With ellie unable to have a child. repeatedly try to save up for a trip to Paradise Falls, but something always seems to come up that requires their savings. One day, Carl finally buys tickets to South America, but before he can tell Ellie, she becomes ill and dies.

Ellie Fredricksen
A tomboyish girl who eventually got married with Carl and spend the rest of her life with him. She is very energetic and cheerful in opposition with calr who is quiet. She looked happy in the movie.. Together spending days beside Carl with smile although sometimes bad things happen to them. It's a pity that Ellie couldn't go to paradise fall with Carl because of her sickness.

Her death causes big impact in Carl's life. Carl become lot grumpy being left alone by her love. I really liked the moment Carl found Ellie's scrapbook containing photos of their moment living together as married couple. In the end i see that Ellie didn't have any regrets. She had happy moments living with Carl. Last thing on the scrapbook ellie write her last message to Carl thanking him for the amazing adventure they have spent together and suggest him to move on.
